My husband recently cut his hair. We did save it but did not know the preferences so it is not ponytailed, just in a ziplock bag. It is what some call virgin hair (i think) in that it has never been dyed, treated, ironed, blow-dried,etc. It is about 11 inches (some of it is longer), sort of dark brown and very soft. When in a ponytail it is about an inch thick circumference at the ponytail. It is shiny but not at all oily and the healthiest hair i have seen. he takes care of it and himself and has never smoke or done any type of drug. he doesn't even like taking aspirin.
