Having long hair all my life has taught me to take good care of it. Instead of brushing it, I comb it to minimize its stress. The products I use to keep it clean were 100% natural.
I’m not a girly person, and just as I don’t use makeup, I’ve always thought things like blow drying, dying, bleaching, straightening, or anything of the sort damaged hair and made it look ugly. As such I’ve never used these methods and always let my hair air dry (which takes two hours or so.)
The hair will be cut in multiple pony tails to insure maximum length.
Hair is of average thickness with the base of a single pony tail at 3.5"
I'm cutting it because I believe it's time I tried (extra) short hair.
I don't smoke and am not around smokers. The hair has brown, black, and red strands when examined closely. I'm always complemented on how it glows/shines with a red hue in the sun.
Hair curls slightly at the end in soft locks.
Sorry for the poor indoor images. The only camera I have is on my laptop and so it's hard to capture its shine.
To Wayne; Yes. From the back top area of my head to the tip of my hair is 27" however I'll need 3" or so to style and as it's at the top it has the most length. That's why I thought of multiple pony tails/braids. The 17-19" is from the single pony tail's bunch to the ends so it is possible to get another inch to two.
