Description

Long, straight, healthy, glossy brown hair. I have never smoked or taken any drugs and I live in a non-smoking household. I have never dyed, bleached, permed, flatironed, highlighted, curled, or otherwise harmed it with heat or chemicals. I do not blow dry it, I stay out of the sun, and I don't swim in chlorinated pools. I use conditioner daily. Hair will be cut upon receipt of payment. Hair sold on TheHairTrader.

I think I have responded to all the emails, but I cannot be completely sure because I have had some computer trouble. If you sent me an information request and have not received your additional photos and/or answers, please email me again. Thank you!

Colin obviously does not care about market value and most of his purchases included the buyer cutting the hair.

As with any other commodity or collectible, hair is worth whatever a buyer is willing to pay. I have purchased the following ponytails ($2600 #250090, $2025 #251021, $2000 #252617, $2500 #253303, $2500 #253877) and sellers hair is worth $2000 too.

hg: In a nutshell, because
1) I am sick to death of being unable to go out in public sometimes without very rude people TOUCHING IT unexpectedly and without permission, and
2) I would like to donate the proceeds to Amazima Ministries International.

Thank you for the advice. I have looked more at the sold section and I have reduced my asking price by $500 for now, but the price can be negotiable and I will consider all serious offers. Please contact me if you have any questions.

Prices are higher whtn the market is better. Yes at one point you could get your asking price but right now with job loss at its high the market has driven prices down.

The hair that is in the SOLD section are the actual SOLD prices. 26" for under 1K, Not the norm for THT and Not all Sold are posted in this section as we are developing on the site. Driving your price down, but did they even make any offer???

I understand about high asking prices, but I was looking at listings that have sold already. Can someone explain why a seller would claim their hair sold for more than it actually did? Not like they have more of the same hair immediately ready...

Dee is right, sellers often overprice their hair. You can ask what you want as many sellers do, but that does not mean it wil sell.If you check some older listings & reposts you will see what I mean. There is a lot of nice hair your length under $900

Dee, thank you for the advice. I have set the price based on what other listings of hair the same length and color as mine have sold for. I will see how it goes.

88, define real $$$$$$. I have seen comments like that posted on a lot of other listings, so not sure how serious the offer is...

$2500 is too much for only 26". you might get $500-600. Usually the only sales close to your asking are the ones that allow the buyer to cut the hair. You still would probably have to cut more than 26" to get your price.
