My hair was washed with good quality shampoo and then conditioned. It was blow dryed as straight as possible without any styling products. It was then tied in a high plait to keep it together and was then cut close to the scalp as possible, see photos.
This is good quality hair, I wash it every two days to preserve natural oils and usually leave it to dry naturally without styling. Like all fair hair it has been lightened by sunshine which is why it is fairer at the tip and darker at the root.
