I grew my hair with a plan to sell. I did serious research on how to grow healthy hair and followed what I learned.
- Selling 21 inches, 3.75 inch around
- Color is Scandinavian blonde - dark blonde with various shades of lighter highlights
- Young hair - grew it from chin-length in 3/04, so it is 4 yrs old (I am also only 25)
- Straight hair - slight wave in humidity
- Virgin hair - never colored, permed, or otherwise treated
- Hair strands are very fine and soft, but hair is super thick b/c there is so much
- Stylists always compliment the beauty of such delicate, but thick, hair
- I eat nutritiously and drink lots of water
- Never smoked, used drugs, or drank alcohol - never exposed to smoke
- Washed 2-3 times a week to avoid drying it out & to let natural oils permeate tips
- Always used conditioner and allowed conditioner to soak 2-3 min before rinsing
- Applied salon-grade leave-in conditioner after each wash
- Used only wide-tooth combs/brushes
- Very, very rarely blow dried - & only w/ cool settings and fingers (never brushes)
I am now going through my third pregnancy since I began growing my hair out and with all the vitamins I'm taking (and have taken) while pregnant and nursing, my hair has never been healthier, thicker, or shinier!
